How to make the Right Decision?
RYD Right Decisions Framework
RYD Right Decisions Framework
An important part of our training to realize our impossible, unimaginable, crazy-big dreams is to strengthen our connection with our intuition / gut / Inner Wisdom because our conscious mind can process only 15 bits of information at a time, while there is 15 million bits of information at any time floating all around us.
Our Intuition can process the entire 15 million bits of information; and supports us to make the right choice and the right decision that progresses us on our good to great journey with greater ease, grace and velocity.
Learn the RYD Right Decisions framework and practise it not only to strengthen your connection to your Inner Wisdom but also to learn to engage all your bodies to enable you to make the right choice and the right decision to support you to joyously lead yourself and your businesses from good to great, realize your dreams and have it all with ease and grace; experiencing beauty, balance and harmony within and all around; while having lots of fun and adventure along the way.
1. Taking support of the Spiritual Body, check in with your Inner Wisdom / Intuition / Gut and become aware of its message through the Physical Body and Emotional Body
Here are the 4 Steps for Getting Your Important Decisions Right using your Intuition:
There are a few decisions that are so critical you need to get them right! There is a four-step process from a top Russian PhD candidate at MIT who researched good and bad decision making at the senior level. Here is how to know if the decision is good or not:
i. Ask yourself / team if you feel like you have 70% of the information needed to make the right decision. You’ll never have 100%.
ii. Next, literally put yourself in the alpha state (relaxed state of mind while being fully awake) through meditating. Take few deep-breaths to get in touch with your breath and then move into Aana Pana - allow your breath to fall into its natural rhythmic pattern, focus your attention on the triangular region covering your nose and your upper lip, and gently observe your natural breath as it comes out and as it goes in.
iii. Speak out loud the decision (don’t just think it) in present tense i.e. "we are launching..."
iv. Literally check in with your gut – does it feel right in your stomach or did you get a squeezy feeling.
v. Verbalise the Opposite Decision - Repeat steps iii and iv by verbalising the present tense of the opposing decision. The key is NOT to use the word “not.” So, an opposing decision is not “we are not launching…”. Instead, you would want to verbalise the alternative “we will delay the launch and focus on…”. Does that feel better or worse. BTW, it works!! You can trust your gut if you have sufficient first-hand information, quiet your mind, speak your decision, and check in with this powerful sixth sense.

2. After checking in with your Intuition, take support of all your bodies to reflect on the impact of the above decision and make a choice:
Spiritual Body
i. Purpose Alignment - Is the decision aligned with my Purpose?
ii.Vanity vs Purpose Metrics: There are 2 kinds of metrics to measure our success -
a. Vanity Metric expands the ego.
b. Purpose Metric contributes to the purpose.
Does this decision expands the ego or contributes to the purpose?
ii. Values Alignment - Is the decision aligned with my Values?
Mental Body
iii. Small mind / Big Mind - What does my small mind say? What does my Big Mind say? Listening to which Mind will serve me?
v. 80 / 20 Principle: Is this decision going to get me to do 20% of what would create the most impact for me, or 20% of what would create the most mess for me?
Emotional Body
iv. Role Alignment: Which role within me wants me to take the above decision? Which role within me does not want me take the above decision? Which role is the Peaceful Warrior role, and comes from a place of being whole and complete?
Energy Body
vii. Energy Audit: Does the decision drain my energy or uplift my energy?
Physical Body
viii. Sensations in the body: What are the sensations in the body as I visualise the journey ahead with the first decision and the journey ahead with the 2nd decision? Which decision feels right in the physical body?
3. What is my Choice?
You now have inputs from all your 5 bodies. The final choice is still yours. What do you choose?
Wishing you the joyous freedom and courage to make the choice that is in alignment with your Purpose, Values, Dreams, Intentions and Commitments; supporting you to Have It All:
i. Deeply fulfilling, successful, profitable business supporting you to live your purpose of life; gifting you with impact, contribution and financial freedom
and
ii. Loving, harmonious, positive, uplifting relationships at work, at home and in the world
and
iii. Happy, healthy, confident, responsible kids with their genius joyfully expressed
and
iv. Nourishing, nurturing yourself to the highest level of fitness and well-being - physically, energetically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually
and
v. Making a massive difference through the work you do
Loving you,
j.
