What is the Design of the RYD Good to Great Journey?

RYD is a structure of success for the peaceful warriors on their good to great journey.

Once someone starts their good to great journey, it is a part of them forever whether they choose RYD as their structure of success or not.

1. A structure of success is critical to progress on our good to great journey. It doesn't matter what that is as long as it offers the below:

i. An impossible, unimaginable, crazy-big dream; sourced in Love Consciousness to transform the world, which in turn will transform the dream-catcher as they play the game to realize their dreams. 
The size of our dreams limits the growth available to us this lifetime.  

If we are not growing, we are dying. And, growth lies outside our comfort zone. An impossible, unimaginable, crazy-big dream is a ticket to life outside the comfort zone.

When life is good, we cling to the safety of our comfort zone, pretending to our own self that we have arrived because we are scared of the unknown outside the comfort zone. That is why good is the enemy of great and most of us end up choosing the mediocrity of good over the joyous fulfilment of great.

ii. A Space Holder, Committed Believer, Fearless Mirror Shower, the wind beneath our wings, trampoline when we jump off the cliff (also known as - jump outside our comfort zone), Catalyst for Action and 59 other roles that RYD Coaches play.

iii. Co-travellers on their good to great journey because good to great evolutionary journey is a team sport and a community process


2. What is the design of the RYD Good to Great game?

The RYD Game is played from one year to the next with a 2-weeks Awaken Journey at the beginning of every RYD Year, as part of which 2 deep-dive immersions are gifted to those who express interest to travel their first or next RYD Year.

The gift Awaken Journey is designed to challenge their commitment and for them to connect with their Inner Wisdom for an Inner Knowing if RYD is the right structure of success for their good to great journey. 

Only if the coachee's Inner Knowing is 10 on 10 about the RYD Coach being their coach and 10 on 10 about RYD as their structure of success for their good to great journey, they are welcomed to their first or next year.

The gift Awaken Journey is a Rite of Passage to their first or next year, and it is designed to be difficult because the RYD good to great journey is about the coachee climbing to the summit of their Mount Everest, personally and professionally.

Every subsequent RYD year is tougher than the previous one as every subsequent year is about the coachee climbing to the summit of the next Mount Everest of their limitless potential. What supported us to get to the summit of the first mountain in our good to great journey will not lead us forward to the summit of the next mountain. 

The RYD game is designed to ensure that our coachees access their infinite Power to Create to fulfil their reality-defying intentions, 
realize their impossible unimaginable crazy-big dreams  and Have It All through 3 Growth Levers:
a. Leadership Depth: 
The inner journey of personal transformation from Fear to Love, from a Fighter or a Victim or a Rescuer or an Avoider to a Peaceful Warrior, embracing our default fears to become Whole and Complete by stepping into Pure Consciousness and Transcendent Love for greater impact in the world by living our Purpose of Life through our work. The measure of Leadership Depth is to Have It All:
i. Deeply fulfilling, successful business supporting us to live our purpose of life; gifting us with impact, contribution and financial freedom
and
ii. Loving, harmonious, positive, uplifting relationships at work, at home and in the world
and
iii. Happy, healthy, responsible, confident kids with their genius joyfully expressed
and
iv. Nourishing, nurturing ourselves to the highest level of health, fitness and joyous well-being - physically, energetically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually
and
v. Making a massive difference through the work we do

b. Craft Mastery: The journey of playing to be the World's best, a Master of our Craft, in service of our customers' said and unsaid needs by becoming a Thought Leader and being at the source of Transformation of our industry globally. Craft Mastery not for the sake of ambition, but as an outcome of being purpose-inspired and Being-of-Service consciousness. Reading and learning not for intellectual stimulation or entertainment, but for the purpose of contributing to the communities that we are committed to serve through our Business. Craft Mastery enables the delivery of the Value Proposition at the level our customers have no right to expect and has them queue outside our door to buy from us, instead of us chasing them to buy from us.

c. Business Excellence: The outer journey of professional success by living our purpose through our work, leading our business from good to great, generating a healthy Triple Bottom Line (3P - Profit, People, Planet); creating a legacy by making a massive difference to our employees, customer communities, business partners, investors and all other stakeholders.

i. Nurturing Relationships – Customers, Employees, Other Stakeholders
ii. Operational Excellence - Bottoms-up continuous process innovation to increase value and reduce costs
iii. Extraordinary Service - Serving, delighting and contributing to our customers with such amazing service, at the level they have no right to expect.
iv. Leveraging Technology - Using technology not just as a tool, but as a strategic enabler—to simplify, amplify, and accelerate making a massive difference to our employees, customers and all stakeholders.
v. Sustainable Sustainability - Building a future-ready business by integrating sustainability into strategy, operations, and culture. Going beyond compliance to contribution.

3. We are committed to travel the RYD Good to Great journey together for the next 25 years to fulfil on our community's shared Big Hairy Audacious Goal of nurturing giants from our land, supporting India to be the world's most developed, beautiful, greenest nation; with her citizens happiest, healthiest and the most prosperous; creating a Brave New World. So, how is leaving in the middle of an RYD Year any different from leaving after completing a full RYD year?  

When an RYD Coachee steps into their first or next RYD Year, it is with a promise to complete a year. Growth lies outside our comfort zone. An RYD Coach has not done their job if they don't turn up the heat for their coachees and create Uncomfortable Zones (also known as Growth Zones) to support their coachees to progress on their good to great journey with velocity. 

With the commitment of a year, coachees sit through the uncomfortable zones, instead of quitting in response to the inevitable challenges that Life throws or when the RYD Coach throws a coachee off the cliff knowing that they are their coachees' trampoline. The coachee will either find wings to fly when thrown off the cliff (thrown outside their comfort zones), or fall down on the trampoline and jump to a place higher than before.

During an Uncomfortable Growth Zone, the coachee may feel bored, distracted, numb, irritated or angry with the coach, overwhelmed, feeling their freedom restricted, disconnected with the RYD Community. They will also begin to project their hole in the soul and small mind on to the coach and fellow RYDians.

If the coachee sits through this phase, they are gifted with a breakthrough and get a stronger access to their Power to Create reality in alignment with their intentions and dreams.

The deep-dive that the coachee most wants to miss is the deep-dive that would most contribute to them.

When the coachee most wants to quit during an RYD Year, sitting through that urge and continuing the journey till the Journey Share at the end of the RYD Year gives them their biggest breakthrough in the year.

4. Why the importance on completing the year?

Besides the above, RYD is a build-up program. Maximum growth happens on the last day when the coachee is sharing their Journey Share in the committed listening of the community. That is why 'Not Quitting till the Year is Over' is the design of the program ever since RYD came into existence in 2013 after investigation and experimentation since 2008 on what it takes to Have It All, the research on which is still ongoing and will be forever.

5. What if the RYD Coachee no longer resonates with their RYD Coach or the RYD Growth Levers of Leadership Depth, Craft Mastery, Business Excellence or the RYD Community?

We are creators of our experience. When in our experience, there is no resonance with others or with situations, that is because there is an experience of absence of Love within us. Something is blocking our connection to our undeniable Love Consciousness, which is our source.

Fear doesn't exist. It is an absence of Love.  Therefore, no resonance with others or with situations is an expression of our Fear Consciousness. When an RYD Coachee reaches such a spot, then what would most support them is for the coach to hold space for them to reflect, investigate, discover, uncover and dissolve some bit more of their Fear Consciousness for the coachee to progress on their good to great journey. If the RYD Coachee is unwilling to do the investigation, it is best to honour their choice and hold space for them to complete from the program and the community.

Keep being Commitment, Trust and Belief to  joyously lead yourself and your work from good to great, realize your dreams and have it all with ease and grace; while having lots of fun and adventure along the way.
