Love is neither ego nor reason, Love is neither mind nor thought.
Love cannot be heard nor cast into words, nor by smell nor sight ever caught.

In light and wind, Love is not found, nor yet in earth and sky.
Consciousness and joy incarnate, Bliss of the Blissful is Love.

Love has no name, Love has no life, Love breathes no vital air.
No elements have moulded Love, no bodily sheath is Love’s lair.

Love has no speech, no hands and feet, nor means of evolution.
Consciousness and Joy is Love, and Bliss in dissolution.

Virtue and vice, or pleasure and pain are not Love’s heritage,

Love has no misgiving of death, no chasms of race divides Love,

Love is neither disciple nor master, Love has no kin, no friend.
Consciousness and joy is Love, and merging in Bliss is Love’s end.

Neither knowable, knowledge, nor knower is Love, formless is Love’s form,
Love dwells within the senses but they are not Love’s home.

Ever serenely balanced, Love is neither free nor bound.
Consciousness and joy is Love, and Bliss is where Love is found.

Reading a book, even a Sacred Text, is like reading a menu card in a restaurant. We are reading someone else's experience and someone's else' Truth. This is good because it helps in Intellectual Understanding of what the Truth could be like. We can be sure of what the Truth is, only if we experience it ourselves. Reading the Menu Card is not experience as yet.

We came to this restaurant because other people said the food in this restaurant is good. We believed and came to the restaurant, which is good because at least we are now in the restaurant to explore what the Truth is.

Seeing the enjoyment on the faces of other people as they are eating food in the restaurant is a validation of our Intellectual Understanding that food in this restaurant is good and yet, this is not experiential understanding.

Only Direct Experience serves to progress us on our inner Good to Great journey (Leadership Depth).

The food is served to us on the table, and we use our hands to bring the food to our mouth, we chew and taste the food. This is Direct Experience. This is Experiential Understanding. Now we can say through our Direct Experience what our Truth is - Food is good or Food is not good or Food is good but not to our liking. We can now live our Truth, make choices on how to live based on our Truth, our Direct Experience of what the Reality is for us.

Imagine coming to the restaurant every day to eat food just because our parents and grandparents came here everyday and enjoyed the food. Let's enjoy the food at this restaurant because we enjoy it after having tasted the food.

For us to realize our highest potential, realize our impossible unimaginable crazy-big dreams and have it all requires us to break free from beliefs that we have inherited and unconsciously adopted from the multiple communities that we belong to. Let's consciously investigate each belief and choose those beliefs and create new beliefs that support us on our Good to Great journey to lead ourselves and our businesses from good to great, realize our dreams and have it all with ease and grace; experiencing beauty, balance and harmony within and all around; while having lot's of fun and adventure along the way.

Use the learnings from others as a foundation for your own journey of growth. Newton said - I saw further than anyone before me because I stood on the shoulders of giants (scientists before him).

Let's stand on the shoulders of giants and learn from masters around the world, irrespective of their gender, race, religion, language, country. Everything from everywhere is our shared heritage as human beings.

1. Spirituality: Spirituality is the real fruit of Religion, which is the Universal Truth across all religions. Whatever divides people on the name of religion - rituals, mythology, theology - are peels of religion designed to support people on their journey to become Spiritual.

Unfortunately, people get distracted by the peels and forget the real essence of what religion is about.

Being Spiritual is to be Love. Being Spiritual is to realize our highest potential by making a massive positive impact to the communities that we have a privilege to belong to.

This is a Gear 3 Distinction.

2. Breaking Free: Unconscious Beliefs become our barriers on the way from Good to Great. Look at each Belief with Raw Honesty through inquiry, investigation, experimentation, exploration and reflection to find your Truth, your point of view on the Ball of Perspective around Reality that serves you to access your Power to Create™ to generate Reality in alignment with your Intentions and Dreams.

A Belief is a point of view on the Ball of Perspective.

Consciously choose those beliefs from your existing repertoire and create new beliefs that support you to joyously lead yourself and your businesses from good to great, realize your dreams and have it all with ease and grace; while having lots of fun and adventure along the way.

3. Taking Responsibility for the World: Taking on more responsibility - beginning with our own life, of people around us, of the communities we belong to, of our country that birthed us, of our planet - doesn’t need more of our time and more hard work, it needs us to grow ourselves to be more Love.

Which fits in beautifully with our own individual journey of evolution and transformation as a human being.

More Love we become, greater a channel of Impact we can be.

This is a Gear 5 Distinction.

4. 80 / 20 Thinker: Distinction of being a 80 / 20 Thinker is available only in Gear 3 because by then, we have learnt to drop limiting beliefs about our own self, about others and about Life itself by starting with seeing the extraordinary in our own self, seeing the extraordinary in others and seeing the extraordinary in Life itself; inspite of all the darkness that may exist alongside in our own self, in others and in Life itself.

By dropping limiting beliefs at all the 3 levels, we become an Empty Space as our mind becomes an Empty Space for gorgeous, breathtaking Creativity to emerge allowing us to see the 20% inputs that will create 80% outcomes.

5. 1For5: As we become more Love in Gear 4, the Distinction of 1For5 (1 Action fulfilling 5 Intentions) becomes available to us because 1For5 requires willing partnership of people around us which we receive because in Gear 4, people experience themselves as extraordinary in our space.

6. DLCMi: As we become fully Love in Gear 5, the Distinction of DLCM (Do Less to Create More impact) finally becomes available to us in all its glory because people in our Space begin to see the extraordinary in each other and joyously partner with each other to fulfil on Intentions and Dreams for which we may have been the source, but now have become shared and co-owned because these Intentions and Dreams deeply resonate with people in our Space.

7. Being a Leader is a Sacred Responsibility
Being a Leader is a sacred responsibility
a. to support people around us to be present to their own greatness and fully live it. Only inside of that, will we get a window to see our own greatness and get an access to fully live it.
b. to support people to lead themselves and their work from good to great, realize their greatest dreams in deepest communion with their highest self and have it all. Only inside of that, do we get the power to lead ourselves and our work from good to great, realize our greatest dreams in deepest communion with our highest self and have it all.
c. to support people by serving them. Only inside of that, will we serve the god in ourselves and be truly fulfilled.

This is a Gear 4 Distinction.

Breaking Free

For our evolution and growth, it is important to identify, inquire and investigate into the beliefs (points on the Ball of Perspective) that we have consciously and unconsciously adopted, and make a choice about which to keep, which to modify, which to drop based on what contributes to us to realize our highest potential to create massive positive impact in the world, realize our dreams and have it all with ease and grace.

There are various sources of our beliefs - family, religion, communities we belong to, the country that birthed us, the gender that we identify with, region we come from, the language we speak, the race, the ethnicity, the species that we are.

The Mastery level of Agility of Mind is to be able to see every Belief as a point on the Ball of Perspective, investigate its impact on our lives with Raw Honesty, understand the rationale and logic behind the Belief, reflect on whether it is in alignment with our Spiritual Values, check its resonance with our Inner Wisdom.

And, then make a Conscious Choice, sourced in Love for our own self and love for all Beings, to stand on that point on the Ball of Perspective that supports us to realize our highest potential to create massive positive impact in the world, realize our dreams and have it all with ease and grace.

The original intent of Religions was to give to people a Way of Life to be good human beings, which is to be loving, kind, honest, truthful, grateful, respectful, happy. That means the original intent of religions was to support people to become spiritual.

But, we all got confused and became attached to the outer layers of religion - customs, traditions, beliefs, different ways of praying, different places to go to pray, mythology, theology - and forgot the real intent which is to be Love.

Whatever divides human beings cannot be a source of our growth and evolution as a species.

Whatever unites human beings is the true source of our growth and evolution as a species.

What unities human beings is to be Love.

Then, should we throw off religion? Of course not, religion is part of our Roots. Let's honour and respect the roots that we come from because only then can the Tree of our Potential fully blossom.

There is depth of knowledge in each religion. Let's take from Religion and from every part of our Roots, that which contributes to our growth and evolution, and drop everything else that doesn't so that we can give to our children the limitless aspects of our roots and be cycle breakers of the limiting aspects of our roots.

Here's a Brave New World I dream of - People of all religions, castes and regions in our country live with each other in loving joyous harmony, deep reverence and understanding for each other’s beliefs, and learn from the spiritual wisdom available in all religions to become the best versions of themselves. Different opinions, beliefs and ways of life peacefully co-exist in our country; experiencing respect, understanding and social safety. India provides leadership to the world in how to embrace diversity and becomes a beacon of love, peace and joy for all of humanity.

For such a Brave New World, each one of us needs the courage of Raw Honesty and Deep Self-Awareness to be able to identify all the Beliefs that are there in our Conscious Mind, Sub-Conscious Mind and the Unconscious Mind; and

1. strengthen our Agility of Mind gear 1 consciousness to see Beliefs as merely thoughts that we have given our Power of Belief to.

2. strengthen our Being of Service gear 2 consciousness to adopt and / or create those beliefs that contribute to us and contribute to all Beings in our Space to journey forward on our Good to Great journey to realize our highest potential to make a massive positive impact in the world.

3. strengthen our Communicating Powerfully in the World of Others gear 3 consciousness to be an Empty Space, with no attachment to any Belief, having all Beings experience our Reverence.

4. strengthen our Delivering on our Word gear 4 consciousness to:
i. realize that our Values is our Word and Promise, not Beliefs.
ii. investigate and discover what Beliefs served us to reach at this point in our journey and which are now coming in the way of the next leg of our Good to Great journey by making us honour Words that we may have given before, when the earlier Beliefs were still relevant.
iii. see with clarity which promises are no longer valid and release ourselves from them so that we can progress on our Good to Great journey with ease and grace.

5. strengthen our Excellence gear 5 consciousness to be a Mind Without Preference because the Mind without Preference is the most powerful with no cravings and aversions. It is here we have the most Power to Create™ to generate Reality in alignment with our intentions and Impossible, Unimaginable, Crazy-Big Dreams. Generating Reality in alignment with our Intentions and Dreams is a delicate dance between a Mind Without Preference for a certain Outcome AND Playing to Win full-out to fulfil one’s Intentions and Dreams, both energies in equal measure.

A story from Mahabharat comes to mind with respect to point 4 above about holding on to a promise which is no longer valid and the impact of that. Bhishma Pitamah had promised his father that he will never lay claim to the throne and will act as a guardian to the throne because that was what his step-mother demanded of his father so that her son could become the king. Even when Dhritarashtra was the king, and the battle ensued between the morally right Pandvas and the morally wrong Kauravas; Bhishma Pitamah fought on the wrong side which was not in alignment with his values because he held himself to the promise he had made.

He had made that promise sourced in the Belief that - I must do everything that would make my father happy. Many years later, when his father was no longer alive, this Belief was no longer valid and therefore, it would have served him to inquire into his Promise given to his father and release himself from it because the promise was making him act against his values of Love and Respect.

The first promise is always to our Spiritual Values because that's who we truly are.

Keep exploring, inquiring, reflecting, investigating, learning and contributing to joyously lead yourself and your businesses from good to great, realize your dreams and have it all with ease and grace; while having lots of fun and adventure along the way.

Imagine that you have a thorn in your arm that directly touches a nerve. When the thorn is touched, it's very painful. Because it hurts so much, the thorn is a serious problem. It's difficult to sleep because you roll over on it. It’s hard to get close to people because they might touch it. It makes your daily life very difficult. This thorn is a constant source of disturbance, and to solve the problem you only have two choices.

The first choice is to look at your situation and decide that since it's so disturbing when things touch the thorn, you need to make sure nothing touches it.

The second choice is to decide that since it's so disturbing when things touch the thorn, you need to take it out.

The effects of the choice you make will determine the course of the rest of your life.

We usually make the first choice to make sure nothing touches the thorn because we have an aversion to pain.

When we pull out the thorn, it will hurt and it will bleed. The thorn are the painful memories from our past, painful memories in our DNA inherited from our ancestors and if you believe in past life, painful memories from our past lives.

These painful memories are stored in the conscious mind (5% of our mind), sub-conscious mind (15% of our mind) and in the unconscious mind (80% of our mind) because we pushed our painful memories under the carpet as we did not know how to process the pain at the time of the incident.

The impact of these painful memories is that we have fear stored in our mind which blocks us from realizing our highest potential and our circumstances in the world outside is a reflection of these fears hidden within us.

What we do is keep battling with our circumstances which are mere reflections of our fears within. That is why we keep struggling.

Our Leadership Depth journey is the journey to go within to dissolve fears in our conscious mind, in our sub-conscious mind and in our unconscious mind for us move from fear towards love for our own self as the first step in Gear 1 to love for all beings and for all things in Gear 5.

Gear 1 Habits are designed to dissolve fears in the Conscious Mind. The keystone transformative practise in this Gear is Reflection.

Gear 2 Habits are designed to dissolve fears in the Sub-Conscious Mind. The keystone transformative practise in this Gear is Psychodrama.

That is why we have integrated Psychodrama as part of the RYD Journey. Since December 2023, Brave Hearts, Ashokas and Socratians have been going through the process of the Journey Within through Psychodrama.

From 15-Sep-24, we will open up the Psychodrama process for the whole community.

On 15-Sep-24, Kay Lord, Psychodrama Trainer, Educator and Practitioner, with 40 years of deep experience, based out of Houston, US, will be in India to run a one-day in-person deep-dive immersion for RYD Circle of Love in Mumbai.

She is my trainer, guide and mentor after my earlier mentor transitioned over at 88. I have been experiencing and learning this modality from him since 2020. I am deeply grateful to Herb and Kay for their massive contribution to my life.

Psychodrama has made a huge difference to my life in supporting me to get in touch with my Hole-in-the-Soul roles (Helpless Child, Critical Parent, Bored Avoider, Super Hero Martyr), to begin the work on dissolving them and in strengthening my Peaceful Warrior roles.

Hole-in-the-Soul in our Spiritual Body creates the small mind in our Mental Body, which creates limiting roles in our Emotional Body, which creates low energy in our Energy Body, which creates limiting behaviours in our Physical Body.

In RYD Leadership Depth journey, we work on all the 5 bodies to transform (TRANScend our default FORM) ourselves to be a Whole Soul, Big Mind, develop and strengthen Peaceful Warrior Roles, unleash limitless Joyous Energy within, and become healthy and fit; responding to the world with Heathy Positive Uplifting Behaviours that contribute to us and those around us to realize our highest potential and make a massive positive impact through our work as an outcome of that.

The Leadership Depth journey is isolation is difficult. It is in integration of the 3 journeys - Leadership Depth, Business Excellence and Craft Mastery - that we progress with greater ease, grace and velocity to Have It All.

That is why in RYD, we travel the 3 journeys simultaneously to joyously lead ourselves and our business from good to great, realize our dreams and have it all with ease and grace; while having lots of fun and adventure along the way.

How can I stay Committed to the Purpose of my Life?

How can I stay focused on and committed to the purpose of my life during the journey, where various factors beyond my control may pull me away from travelling the path of my purpose?

It’s a great question, Aravind 💜

If we stay focussed on and committed to the Purpose of our Life, nothing can pull us away from travelling the path of our Purpose. It’s only when we are not committed to and focussed on our Purpose, then various factors affect us and throw us off our path of our Purpose.

The next exploratory question could be – How do I stay focussed and committed to my Purpose that nothing can throw me off my path of living my Purpose?

The way to stay focused and committed is to declare a Purpose, believe in your Purpose with all your heart, and accept with your mind that your Purpose is the reason of your existence. Do this long enough, you will soon awaken to your Inner Knowing of your soul.

Reading your Purpose number of times during the day creates an energetic connection with your Purpose, creating the space for the Heart to believe in your Purpose with childlike trust and faith, enabling the Mind to accept the Purpose first and then embrace it, moving the Purpose from the Physical Body to the Energy Body to the Emotional Body (Heart) to the Mental Body (Mind); leading to finally an Inner Knowing in the Spiritual Body (Soul), which is when there is Ease and Grace on our good to great journey to fulfil on our Purpose.

The structure of success for reading the Purpose number of times could be to say it as a Prayer of Gratitude before every meal.

As we read the Purpose number of times during the day, our mind opens up to being in action in alignment with our Purpose. The Body being in action further strengthens the connection between the Purpose, our body, energy, heart, mind and soul creating upward spirals of growth as we live our Purpose of life through the spiritual playground of our business by making a massive difference to our people and our customer communities through the work we do. We begin to live our Purpose through every conversation, every interaction with each being in our Space. My Purpose and I become one, making my Purpose a place to come from instead of a place to strive towards.

At first, we needed to feed our Purpose with our Energy. As we strengthen our connection with our Purpose, living our Purpose begins to give us Energy. That Energy is called Passion. Purpose is the input for Passion.

Newton's 3rd Law of Motion beautifully captures the essence of the Universal Law of Energy - Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

What we are questing for, what we are seeking to receive, is the reaction from the Universe. To activate the reaction, we need to take action which is equal and opposite of the reaction. For us to Receive what we are questing for, we necessarily then need to Give to others what we are questing for.

Our Quest this Lifetime is what we most want for ourselves. Our Purpose is then really to give to others what we most want for ourselves. All the trouble in the world is because people are chasing their Quest. That is like breaking our head against the wall because receiving what we are questing for is a reaction. We will activate that reaction and receive with ease and grace what we are seeking by giving to others the very thing we are seeking.

If my Quest this Lifetime is to be loved because the hole-in-my-soul is - 'I am all alone. No one loves me.' Then, my Purpose this Lifetime is to support others to be loved by my Being Love. I am Love - becomes my Purpose to be lived through the spiritual playground of my Business, making my Business a training ground for me to be Love and as an outcome of that having me be Love in all spaces in my Life with all beings in my space.

If my Quest this Lifetime is to be Mastery because the hole-in-my-soul is - 'I am not good enough.' Then, my Purpose this Lifetime is to support others to be Mastery by my Being Mastery. I am Mastery - becomes my Purpose to be lived through the spiritual playground of my Business, making my Business a training ground for me to be Mastery and as an outcome of that having me be Mastery in all areas of my Life - Personal, Relationship, Business, Leadership and Life itself.

If my Quest this Lifetime is to be Massive Positive Impact because the hole-in-my-soul is - 'I am not important.' Then, my Purpose this Lifetime is to support others to be Massive Positive Impact by my Being Massive Positive Impact. I am Massive Positive Impact - becomes my Purpose to be lived through the spiritual playground of my Business, making my Business a training ground for me to be Massive Positive Impact and as an outcome of that having me be Massive Positive Impact in all areas of my Life - Personal, Relationship, Business, Leadership and Life itself.

The above three are examples as a way to illustrate the concept. Arrive at your specific Purpose in an exploration with your coach.

Revenue and Profitability become the outer expression of my inner journey to live my Purpose. It's in recognising and understanding the beautiful inter-twining between me, my Purpose and my Business that the magic of transformation spreads from me to my business and from there, to the world around me.

Let's keep strengthening our connection with and our belief in our Purpose to joyously lead ourselves and our work from good to great, realize our dreams and have it all with ease and grace; while having lots of fun and adventure along the way 💜
