Project AthenaCentre for Transformational Leadership™

Project Athena is a special initiative and a deep commitment by Centre for Transformational Leadership™ to strengthen Women Leadership in India, as measured by the number of Indian Women the Centre coaches to become Gear 5 CEOs and Board Members of global corporates. Our Big Hairy Audacious Goal is to coach to create 100 Indian Women Gear 5 leaders over the next 25 years to make India the happiest, and the most economically, socially and spiritually developed nation in the world.

We start coaching professional women while they are still in middle management positions to support them to consciously design their lives, professionally and personally, to walk towards their destination of being Gear 5 CEOs and Board Members to make a massive difference in the world through their work.

We recognise the value and importance of Diversity to create mastery level results; and realise that a safe cocoon of only Indian Women Professionals will come in the way of their growth. Therefore, though the success of Project Athena is measured by the number of Indian Women professionals that the Centre has coached to become Gear 5 CEOs, the program is open to and welcomes participants from all nations and all genders. The program is, by design, a long-term partnership with participants in a Mastermind Group of 10 and is delivered through live Video Sessions to encourage diversity.

Indian Women Professionals are inspired to dare to dream big. The Corporates are encouraged to nominate their star women leaders to the program to give them a winning chance to learn, grow and evolve to their Highest Potential; and lead their organization from good to great.

Centre for Transformational Leadership™
Can a good company become a great company? How?  It took Jim Collins and his team of researchers five years to come up with the answers: 11 companies, out of 1,435 whose performance they examined over 40 years, made the leap from good to great and then sustained those results for at least 15 years. How great was great? The good-to-great companies averaged cumulative stock returns 6.9 times the general market in the 15 years after their transition points. 

Jim Collins wanted to discover a person-independent process that could be applied to a company to transition it from good to great. After massive research and statistical correlation of data, Collins concedes in his book 'Good to Great' in which he published the outcome of this study that a company can be transformed to a great company only if the leader at the helm of the organisation is a Level 5 leader. He also acknowledges in the very first chapter of the book that the inner development of a person to Level 5 is a black box and that he does not have a list of steps for becoming a Level 5 Leader. That is the purpose, mandate and mission of Centre for Transformational Leadership™ - to coach leaders to evolve to being Gear 5 (our name for Level 5) Leaders.
Our proprietary Integrated Leadership Program follows a multi-disciplinary approach to give practical tools and business-skills for the leader to evolve to a Gear 5 Leader and create transformational results:
  1. Our 5-Gear Leadership Development Process focuses on you understanding and implementing the concepts, guiding you step by step to support you across different stages of leadership evolution:
