Instead of criticising, re-stating the criticism as a question is far more productive. You have an engaged employee, child and spouse; with each partnership working powerfully to fulfil 100% of your intentions with velocity. Here are few examples for you to learn how to play this game:
1. Instead of saying 'That's not a realistic plan.' to your employee; what if you say 'How can you make the steps of your plan more tangible and concrete?' 2. To your child, instead of saying 'Stop playing all the time and focus on your studies.'; what if you say 'How can you finish your studies faster so that you have more time to play?' 3. Instead of saying to your spouse, 'You are late again.'; what if you say 'How can we create more time together?' Notice these are all 'How' questions, which tend to be the most useful.
