What's an Idea that Shifted Everything for You?

An idea can change a life. Here's an idea that shifted everything for me: We are a part of - a community, an organization, a school, a college, a group, a country, a family, a relationship - to contribute. And, in that contribution lies our growth as a human being.

When we grow from the inside, everything on the outside grows - wealth, success, recognition.

If you are happy, fulfilled and at peace with yourself and the world around you, prosperity and abundance is certain with action arising from that Being. But if you have prosperity and abundance, there is no guarantee that you will be happy, fulfilled and at peace.

Am I this ideal all the time? No, though I have stopped beating myself for it or being embarrassed about it. It is in being aware and coming back to the path every time you fall off that growth happens. Mastery is achieved in coming back to practise at each failure and EVEN when you succeed; without loss of energy, power or equanimity.
